This is a new series called MYLIIT, showed in Venezia on the occasion of the 58th Biennale.

The four elements are captured in here. Fire, Water, Earth, Air.

The magnificence of Sicily’s land brought me to the biggest active vulcano in europe: Etna.

I was very fascinated by the way magma becomes solid (igneous rock), falling down as lava to the earth. It was a winter day and snow was all over the vulcano. A dirty, spotted and dusty snow. Devastating contrast.

Gasses and air were included in this powerful alchemy process. Powerful, incredible shapes emerged.

Nature is the most fascinated thing to me. Nature is a language. Nature is cruel, beautiful.

This could be extraterrestrial landscapes. Or our planet after humans will ruin everything. .

A lit for the uncertain (future). The need of representing the eternal, not the present. Somewhere, not specific.

Circles and geometry. Proportions. Maybe as a shortcut. Maybe not.

…may you live in interesting times, they said. MYLIIT, they said.
