CADOGAN PALERMO

Cadogan Gallery are pleased to announce An Exhibition in Palermo; an immersive exhibition opening from 23rd June – 8th July 2023 in Palermo, Sicily. The exhibition curated by Georgina Pounds brings together new work by Mexican-Swedish artist Andreas Diaz-Andersson and Italian artist Edoardo Dionea Cicconi. Both artists previously exhibited together in Mexico City earlier in 2023 and this exhibition looks to expand further on that collaboration. The exhibition will occupy three spaces within a Baroque Palazzo overlooking the Palermo Cathedral. The exhibition presents Edoardo’s kinetic mirrors interacting with Andreas’ systematic threaded canvases as well as a new recording seen for the first time. The hyper-contemporary nature of the work will contrast with the faded beauty of the baroque space and lead to an immersive, timeless experience where reflection and distortion invite the viewer to look deeper.
